Three members of a family have been convicted of false imprisonment and causing actual bodily harm.
Mudassar Ahmed, 29, and his parents Halima and Iftikhar Ahmed, both 52, were found guilty after a two-week trial at Oxford Crown Court.
Mudassar’s wife Saira Ahmed, 28, was punched and kicked by the family when she was seven months’ pregnant in June 2007.
They also separated her from her baby daughter after she was born and assaulted and imprisoned her.
Mudassar, Halima and Iftikhar Ahmed are due to reappear at the court to be sentenced on Friday, September 3.
After they had been convicted by a jury last week, Judge Anthony King, who is hearing the case, warned the trio that he had not ruled out giving them prison sentences.
