SPECTATORS shelter from the rain while listening to music from all over the world at the fourth Livestock festival in Stratton Audley, near Bicester.
On Friday and Saturday musicians from Sudan, Madagascar and Senegal played at the Red Lion pub and on Sunday there was a family field day at Hall Farm.
More than 400 people enjoyed food from around the globe at the food festival, were entertained by circus performers and took part in craft workshops.
There were also donkey rides, ferret racing and Morris dancing.
Organiser Malachy O’Neill said: “The atmosphere was glorious and we had the best food and drink, music and company. Everybody went home feeling happy.
“It was a tremendous success in all respects and hopefully we will have managed to raise enough money to keep going next year and to give significant amounts to two very worthwhile charities — Anthony Nolan Trust and Maggie’s Centre in Oxford.”
Next year’s Livestock will take place from Friday, August 19, to Sunday, August 21.
