Hundreds of children in the Littlemore area of Oxford are making the most of a summer playscheme at John Henry Newman School.
The three-week event, which finishes on August 27, features a range of activities for young people, including sports and arts and crafts.
On Thursday, Lord Mayor of Oxford John Goddard visited the youngsters to see how everything was going.
Oxford City Council and Littlemore Parish Council have helped fund the event.
Parish councillor Dorian Hancock said: “The playscheme is a mark of the very real and substantial progress which has been made by and for the people of Littlemore.”
