Thames Valley Police said today that no further action was being taken against a 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of a man in Benson in June this year.
The man was arrested following the death of pub landlord Wayne Marshall, 42, in The Crown Pub, in High Street, on June 27.
Det Sgt Darren Cartwright said: “The case papers were considered by the Crown Prosecution Service and it was decided that no further action should be taken against the other party.
"It was accepted that his actions were reasonable in the circumstances he was faced with. The matter will now be passed on to the Oxfordshire Coroner.”
