DRUGS worth at least £500,000 have been uncovered from a house in East Oxford, police said last night.
Police confirmed the seizure was one of the largest in Oxford’s history.
Heroin, cocaine and cannabis were seized from a house in Reliance Way, off Cowley Road, on Sunday, July 25.
Det Insp Paul Miller said: “We have not released any information until now for operational reasons, but I can confirm that this seizure is part of an extensive and detailed investigation.
“We cannot confirm the exact value or quantities until a full analysis of the drugs has been conducted.
“I would ask anyone with information about this particular seizure, or any information about the supply and sale of drugs in Oxford, to come forward and speak to police immediately.”
Anyone with information should call Det Insp Miller on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
