I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the passers-by who stopped to help my grand-daughter and me on Friday, July 30, when I collapsed outside the Londis shop in Abingdon Road at about 6pm.
Katie, aged 11, was extremely upset and a number of people ran to help her and called the ambulance for me.
Without their support and help, who knows what would have happened?
Katie’s mum and dad came up for her later that evening so she was well looked after.
I am now home back home in Kent but still undergoing tests to establish the reasons for the collapse.
Thankfully Katie has recovered from the shock and hopefully, one day, we will come back to Oxford to complete our weekend break.
Thank you all again.
