Police are appealing for information after a charity box containing about £80 was stolen from a newsagents in Witney.
Officers were called to Newslink, in Corn Street, at about 7.50pm on Saturday, after three men entered the shop and took a clear plastic jar which contained money collected for the victims of the floods in Pakistan.
One man distracted the shop assistant while another removed the container from the counter.
PC Laura Pagan said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have information about this crime. We are looking for three men in connection with the incident.”
