THERE seems to be something in the air at the moment.
Oxfordshire’s mums-to-be are giving birth by football stadiums, at home, and now by the side of the road.
Kelly Malliagh, from Wheatley, gave birth to her second boy just minutes after her first contraction.
We have already reported the adventures of Gemma Fillary, of Carterton, who took only 24 minutes to give birth, and Emily Tomlinson, of Wheatley, who gave birth outside Reading’s Madejski Stadium.
At this rate, it’s going to be more unusual for a mum-to-be to actually make it to the John Radcliffe.
