Alan Bourne (Oxford Mail, June 9) said Darwin’s theories were based on faked research by a certain Haeckel.
Ernst Haeckel was a celebrated admirer and exponent of Darwinism. But this story of “faked research” is something of which I have never heard, in all the 76 years of my life.
Will Mr Bourne please tell us where he found it?
