CHILDREN used a splash of paint to decorate an old classroom.
Grove CofE School pupils have painted a bright mural on the four walls of its outdoor classroom as a part of art week.
The children, aged four to 11, were helped by Botley artist Morna Rhys to create the Noah’s Ark-themed mural.
And the whole school helped decorate the building over the course of the week.
They collected cereal packets to make into stencils of animals and fish and then sponge-printed their designs on to the building.
Headteacher Wendy Grace said: “It was an old classroom that just needed brightening up.
“It is something different and something they can look back in years to come and say ‘that is something I did’.”
