YOUNGSTERS in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, took a gastronomic tour of the globe when their nursery held a world food day.
Chinese, Indian and French dishes were among the menu options for tots at the Co-operative Nursery. The event was part of a nationwide initiative by the company that aimed to broaden the children’s understanding of the world.
All week the youngsters, including, from left, Owen Forster, EJ Brown, Zahrah Khan and Tyler Giles, discovered new tastes and painted flags from around the globe before being joined by staff and parents for a picnic on Friday.
