Homes in Chipping Norton have been left without power after an electricity sub-station fault.
More than 480 homes suffered a power cut today at about 2.30pm.
Engineers from Southern Electric have returned electricity to more than half the homes affected, but 200 are still in the dark.
The energy provider has apologised for the problem and said it is working hard to resolve it.
