A NURSERY has celebrated 25 years of giving generations of Didcot children their first taste of education.
Stepping Stones Pre-School was set up by the local Baptist church in 1985, and is now based at Northbourne Primary School in Cockcroft Road.
On Thursday, former members of staff and children celebrated with a picnic on the school’s playing fields. Miriam Loukes with Edward Driscoll, three, and Amelia Smith, four, are pictured enjoying cake.
Organiser Carol Chapple said: “Hundreds of children from Didcot will have come through Stepping Stones over the years.”
