Michael Edwards, 23, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cowley Road, East Oxford, on May 8; shoplifting a £9.99 bottle of wine from Marks and Spencer in Oxford on May 19; failing to surrender to police bail; and failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by committing further offences while subject to it. Jailed for 16 weeks.
Kirsty Scotland, 21, of Green Hill, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two beef joints valued at £34.70 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on February 25; failing to attend a follow-up assessment following a test for Class A drugs; failure to surrender to court bail; and committing a further offence during the period of a suspended sentence. Jailed for four weeks.
Thomas Lillis, 66, of no fixed address, admitted harassment without violence and breaching a non-molestation order between March 25 and April 20 in Oxford. Jailed for 68 days.
Matthew Brain, 24, of Wolsey Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order on May 5. Excluded from entering George Street, Oxford, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for three weeks and told to pay £50 costs.
Gulfraz Khan, 31, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend a course on May 5. Given an additional two weeks’ drink-rehabilitation programme.
Josette Campbell, 25, of Mary Price Close, Oxford, admitted possessing a weapon for the discharge of noxious liquid, namely pepper spray, in Oxford on March 19. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.
Emmanuel Fawusi, 34, of Cherry Tree Close, Southmoor, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance and drink driving in Cherry Tree Close on January 23. Namely having 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, about the legal limit of 35mg. Given 250 hours’ unpaid work, banned from driving for two years and told to pay £250 costs.
Malcolm Plaisted, 23, of Park View Lane, Witney, admitted shoplifting fragrances valued at £71.98 from Superdrug in Oxford on April 29. Three original offences, for which a community order was given, also resentenced. Given a six-week prison sentence, suspended for a year, and six months’ supervision. Also banned from all branches of Marks & Spencer for a year.
Simone Andrews, 24, of Woodside, Hinksey Hill, Oxford, admitted shoplifting £38.50 of jewellery from Claire’s Accessories in Oxford on November 26; failure to surrender to court bail; shoplifting soft drinks valued at £3.55 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on November 1; and shoplifting toiletries valued at £16.18 from Boots in Oxford on February 16. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation order and a 12 month supervision order.
Carla Hammond, 37, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress on April 21 in Oxford and failing to surrender to court bail. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £35 costs.
James Lewis, 19, of Emperor Gardens, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on May 1 and failing to surrender to court bail. Given a two-month curfew and ordered to pay £75 compensation and £35 costs.
Sam Lynn, 18, of Marlborough Gardens, Faringdon, admitted theft of a motor vehicle, driving without a licence and driving without insurance in Faringdon on April 5. Jailed for 60 days and banned from driving for three months.
Didcot
Douglas Mclaughlan, 49, of Bath Street, Abingdon, convicted of shoplifting two bottles of wine worth £6.58 from Abingdon Co-op on July 25. Given 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 costs.
Banbury
Sebastian Hricko, 20, of High Street, Chipping Norton, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on March 8. Given an additional 20 hours’ unpaid work and ordered to pay £50 costs.
Michael Hubert, 43, of Calthorpe Road, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with the a community order by arriving late for unpaid work on May 2. Given an additional six hours’ unpaid work.
Johnjo O’Neill, 19, of Hilton Road, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on January 19. Given an additional 195 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £50 costs.
Pauline Walker, 21, of Station Caravan Park, Station Approach, Banbury, admitted obstructing or resisting a police constable in the execution of their duty on January 16 in Oxford. Fined £70, £30 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Andrea Pisleag, 21, of Glaisdale Avenue, Coventry, admitted shoplifting cosmetics to the value of £126.48 from Morrisons in Banbury on May 13. Given 40 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £85 costs.
Danny Maher, 22, of Causeway, Banbury, admitted harassment (by putting in fear of violence) in Banbury on February 6. Given 120 hours’ unpaid work and ordered to pay £85 costs.
Sean Stevens, 22, of Oxford Road, Enstone, admitted seven counts of fraud by false representation by claiming he was in possession of valid tickets for Reading Festival, Benicassim Festival, Hard Rock Calling Festival, a Miley Cyrus concert, and a Muse concert. Given 240 hours’ unpaid work and made to pay £1,770 compensation and £85 costs. Separately admitted assault by beating in Witney on April 25 and using threatening words or behaviour intended to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Chipping Norton on April 17. Given a 16-week curfew and ordered to pay £85 costs.
