TRAIN operator First Great Western is warning passengers that disruption to services between Oxfordshire and London is likely to last until at least 10pm tonight.
Vandalism to signal equipment at West Drayton, between Slough and London Paddington, is limiting the number of trains that can run and causing delays of up to 90 minutes.
Services on the Cotswold Line due to run through Oxford to or from London are also affected, with some trains starting and ending their journeys at Oxford.
The firm is advising people not to travel this evening unless their journey is essential.
FGW tickets are being accepted on Chiltern Railways services from London Marylebone to Oxfordshire and South West Trains' route from London Waterloo to Reading, where connections for Didcot Parkway and Oxford are available.
For the latest information, see the FGW website or call 08457 484950.
