Well done to the organisers of the Pride Festival for such a well-run event.

Now that’s over, I want to organise a Straight and Proud Festival.

Do you think this would get the same welcome from the council as Pride?

Would the Pride brigade get upset that we were trying to impose our views, by showing our solidarity to heterosexuals and single people, and trying to show everyone that there is nothing wrong with being straight?

I do not mind people having their points of view, but we must not forget that coins have two sides – and only allowing focus on one side is heterophobic.
