Ram-raiders stole £1,000 worth of goods after breaking into the Summit service station in Stadhampton.
Thieves used a white van to reverse into the shop in Thame Road at 1.16am yesterday.
Finding the door reinforced, three white men got out of the van and used tools to smash the door window to gain entry to the shop.
Once inside, the thieves stole several crates of beer, bottles of vodka, doughnuts, cigarette papers and sweets, including Kinder eggs, Jelly Tots and 80 bars of Lindt chocolate. The goods have an estimated total value of £1000.
PC Emma Dobie said: “These thieves have caused several thousand pounds worth of damage for the sake of a few beers and some sweets.
“We are issuing CCTV footage and I am appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
“Thanks to the reinforced windows and shutters, damage to the building has been minimised, and the owner of the shop continues to trade.”
