OXFORD United may be back in the Football League but it will be a familiar Conference face they see in their first game.
The U's' fixtures for their return to League 2 have been released this morning and Chris Wilder's men will be away at Burton Albion for the first game on Saturday, August 7.
The bulk of United fans will have to wait seven days to see league football again, with the second game against Bury at the Kassam Stadium.
Games against local rivals are Wycombe away on Saturday, August 21 and home Saturday, April 9; Cheltenham Town away on Tuesday, September 28 and home Tuesday, March 8; and Northampton Town at home on Saturday, October 23 and away Saturday, January 22.
Holiday dates to start planning for are Boxing Day away at Stevenage, seeing the New Year in following the party a few hours earlier at home against Southend United, while Easter will see United at the Kassam on the Saturday against Chesterfield and away on the Monday at Barnet.
The fixture for the Early May Bank Holiday weekend at the moment is listed as being home to Lincoln City on Saturday, April 30.
