FERRARIS, Porsches and Aston Martins roared into Stanton Harcourt for a special event at the village school.
Pupils in Years Three and Four decided to hold a ‘cool car’ show as part of a project entitled Top Speed.
More than 20 owners brought their cars to the event.
Teacher Becky Clarke said: “The children wrote to friends and families and any people they could think of who knew someone who had what they thought was a cool car.
“People were giving up their time, taking days off work to let the children climb in and out of these expensive cars. It was a really nice sight.”
The pupils interviewed the owners on video and the footage will be added to other filming done over the term to produce a class video.
Byron Townsend, eight, said: “The show was really fantastic, because we had lots and lots of cars and we could sit in them.”
Holly Taylor, also eight, said: “It was really fantastic and fun, because lots of people came along.”
