A 45-year-old woman has been injured this morning in an accident involving a number of vehicles on the A420 near Oxford.
The accident, between the Cumnor turn and the Botley interchange, happened at about 7.50am and is thought to involve at least two cars.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: “The initial report we received said a 45-year-old woman had been hit by a car.
“Our staff are still at the scene and the woman will soon be taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
“We can’t provide any more details about her injuries at this time.”
The spokesman said Thames Valley Police officers were also at the scene, where one lane is blocked and traffic is slow heading eastbound.
