A PROTEST will be held in Cornmarket next week to demonstrate against the Government’s public spending cuts.
The rally, at 5pm on Tuesday, coincides with Chancellor George Osborne’s emergency budget.
It has been organised by the Right to Work campaign and public sector unions are expected to attend along with local campaign groups.
Branch secretary of Oxfordshire Unison’s health branch, Ian McKendrick, is one of the organisers.
He said: “There are things that could be done that wouldn’t hurt public services.”
