We welcome Thames Valley Police’s decision to reopen the book on the murder of Oxford taxi driver Leonard Gomm.
Many of our readers will remember when the body of the 75-year-old was found at Hampton Gay.
It was a story which shocked the county – primarily, because there seemed to be no motive.
But now, two decades later, police believe new evidence could give them the breakthrough needed to solve the crime.
Mr Gomm’s daughters are right to say their father deserves justice.
Hopefully, the fresh clues will help detectives to finally find his killer.
