CONGRATULATIONS to Dr Anthony Lewis on his MBE in today’s Queen’s Birthday Honours for helping to create the Duckworth-Lewis method of determining targets in rain-affected cricket matches.
While it is sometimes controversial, it is a lot better than what was in place before.
