ARTISTS, performers and entertainers are urged to showcase their skills at an open mic event at Modern Art Oxford tomorrow night.
The free event is part of artist Maria Pask’s current exhibition Deja Vu, which was inspired by old copies of the now-defunct Rose Hill newsletter Roundabout.
Gallery spokesman Kayleigh Hellin said: “All genres of performance are welcome, whether it be juggling, singing, dancing, poetry, stand-up, or anything else. It’s up to you.”
The master of ceremonies will be Tim Goldman.
He said: “I’m very excited about the event and looking forward to an eclectic bunch of acts on show.”
Performance slots last three minutes. A microphone will be provided, but artists can bring their own props.
Anyone wishing to take part should register at the gallery, Pembroke Street, at 7pm. Performances start from 7.45pm.
