The Prince of Wales is to give a lecture on Islam and the environment today.
Charles, patron of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, will make the speech in the Sheldonian Theatre at Oxford University.
In 1993, the Prince gave a speech titled Islam and the West at the inauguration of the Centre's Distinguished Lecturer Programme.
Since then, annual lectures at the centre have been given by world figures including former president of South Africa Nelson Mandela, former United Nations secretary-general Kofi Annan and Sonia Gandhi.
Before giving his speech, the Prince will visit the new Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies building on Marston Road and tour the building, which is still in development.
After the lecture, Charles will join a reception of invited guests.
