A 29-year-old man has been sentenced to 12 months in prison after admitting to burglary at Oxford Magistrates’ Court.
Tony Attwood, of Phipps Road, Cowley, pleaded guilty to breaking into LB’s Lebanese Cuisine, in Banbury Road, on Tuesday, May 18.
Attwood also asked for a burglary at the Murco Garage in Between Towns Road, Cowley, on May 29 to be taken into consideration.
PC Darren Pomroy, from the Oxford Burglary Team, said: “I’m very pleased with the sentence, which sends out a message that if you carry out these sorts of crimes you will be caught and punished.”
