A Grove teenager has become the first person to be banned from pubs and off-licences in the Vale of White Horse.
Tomas Bennett, 18, is banned from places which sell alcohol in Wantage and Grove after police noted a series of serious drunken incidents, many of which happened when he was underage.
The scaffolder, from Mandarin Place, was handed the two-year ban yesterday at Didcot Magistrates Court after police made an application based on ten incidents of drunken anti-social behaviour.
The order comes under Section 3 of The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.
Bennett volunteered to pay £250 to complete a course which will cut his ban to one year.
