A Grove teenager has become the first person to be banned from pubs and off licences in the Vale of White Horse.
Tomas Bennett, 18, is banned from places which sell alcohol in Wantage and Grove after police noted a series of serious drunken incidents, many of which happened when he was underage.
The scaffolder, from Mandarin Place, was handed the two year ban yesterday at Didcot Magistrates Court after police made an application based on 10 incidents of drunken anti-social behaviour.
The order comes under Section 3 of The Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.
Bennett volunteered to pay £250 to complete a course which will cut his ban to one year.
