THE bodies of three soldiers who were killed in Afghanistan are being repatriated on Thursday.
Jim Lewendon, vice-president of the Royal British Legion in Oxfordshire, said the bodies of a Royal Marine and two soldiers from the Mercian Regiment would be flown back to RAF Lyneham before being driven to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for post-mortems.
Mr Lewendon said the cortege was expected to arrive in Headington at about 3pm, with RBL veterans and members of the public lining the route in Headley Way.
