A two-minute silence is due to be observed at noon tomorrow across Oxfordshire in memory of the 52 victims killed in the July 7 London terror bombings one year ago.
Scores of churches across the county will ask their congregations to think of all those affected by the atrocities in their prayers.
In Oxford, St Michael at the Northgate, in Cornmarket Street, will sound its bells at the time the first bombs went off, and will also be holding private prayer sessions.
At Christ Church Cathedral, special prayers are to be said at morning prayers and evensong.
In Abingdon, St Helen's Church and Trinity Church will also be reading prayers for the victims of the attacks and bereaved families.
And at the Muslim Educational Centre of Oxford (Meco), the weekly prayer service, held at Summertown Hall, Oxford, at 1pm, will be dedicated to remembering those affected by the bombings.
Both the Westgate and Clarendon shopping centres in Oxford will ask shoppers to pause to observe the silence.
Staff at Oxford Crown Court will also pay their respects.
In London, memorial plaques are to be unveiled at the five locations King's Cross, Russell Square, Edgware Road, Aldgate and Tavistock Square which survivors of the bombings will be invited to visit.
A commemorative event is also being organised in Regent's Park at which the names of the 52 victims of the attacks will be read aloud.
