The ceremonial robing of new Oxford Lord Mayor John Goddard takes place on Monday.
The event is part of the Lord Mayor’s Parade, which takes place through the city centre before finishing at Oxford Castle.
The parade will be led by Mr Goddard and the Mayor of Bonn, followed by Oxford University Brass Band and Bonn’s Stadsoldatten Band.
The event starts at 11am with the parade from Carfax, through Cornmarket Street, George Street and New Inn Hall Street, and there will be dancing and musical entertainment, before the robing takes place at 11.30am in Bonn Square.
The celebrations then finish at noon at the castle.
