WERE you inspired by the London Marathon but not sure you could go the full distance yet?
Would you also like to help a locally based charity fight breast cancer? Then we can help!
Take in the wonderful sights of London and be part of history by running along some of the 2012 Olympic Marathon route as part of the Against Breast Cancer team in the 10th British 10k run.
The route will take you alongside Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral in front of tens of thousands of supporters.
We are seeking individuals and groups willing to commit to the challenge of the run and to raising a minimum of £100 each, with full support from our dedicated events team.
One hundred women a day in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer. But the funds that are raised by our British 10K team will help to support our unique combination of research – more details of which can be found on our website againstbreastcancer. org.uk.
The charity also has a limited number of places in the London Marathon, for which we are currently seeking applications Please contact Jane or Nick on 01235 534211 or events@ againstbreastcancer.org.uk for further details of both events.
