A MAN has been told he needs plastic surgery after he was assaulted.
The 23-year-old told police he was attacked as he walked home from the Bullingdon Arms, in Cowley Road, at about 11pm last Thursday. He was found with injuries to his face in Belvedere Road.
The man was intoxicated and does not remember all of the details of the attack.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital and discharged but must return for surgery to his face.
Pc Kelly Love said: “We are trying to establish exactly what happened.”
The victim, who is white and 6ft 3in tall, was wearing jeans and a distinctive red and white striped top at the time.
