Fire crews are still dealing with the aftermath of a fire on an industrial estate near Witney involving a number of gas cylinders.
The blaze broke out last night at a unit at the Crawley Mill industrial estate.
Dry Lane remains closed and there are diversions in place on Burford Road and Leafield Road.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire Service said 35 firefighters attended the blaze at 7.47pm last night.
And they set up a 200-metre safety cordon around the area when they found gas cylinders they feared might explode.
Incident commander Nick Bateman said: “Fire crews evacuated the immediate area and fought throughout the night to prevent the fire spreading to surrounding buildings.
“They also cooled cylinders, one of which was thought to contain acetylene.”
The cylinder cooling operation is expected to continue for another 24 hours and roads closures will remain in place for this period.
