FORMER Oxford University student Anjool Malde is to be awarded a posthumous masters degree by his former college tomorrow.
Mr Malde, 24, who was a BBC Radio Oxford volunteer and worked as a stockbroker and nightclub entrepreneur, died after falling from London restaurant Coq d’Argent on July 5 last year.
As well as awarding him the degree, St Peter’s College will also host a memorial tea for Mr Malde.
The college said in a statement: “Mr Malde was clearly destined to develop a distinguished career in whatever he turned his hand to and it is therefore particularly tragic that his life was cut so short.”
An inquest into Mr Malde’s death in February, recorded a verdict of suicide.
A trust has been set up in his memory and an anniversary event is planned.
