Oxford United today snapped-up York City right back Ben Purkiss on a two-year deal and completed the permanent signing of winger Alfie Potter for an undisclosed fee.
It means that boss Chris Wilder has now signed three players in two days after the unveiling of former Luton midfielder Asa Hall yesterday.
Wilder said: "We're delighted to have captured a player of Ben's calibre and know that he is someone who will provide stiff competition to Damian Batt."
Of Potter, Wilder added "He will be a major asset for us next season."
