Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself to two teenage girls in Wantage.
Two students from King Alfred’s School, one of whom is aged 16, were walking through Manor Park, when a man approached them. He was exposing himself and touching himself inappropriately.
The man was white, in his late thirties to forties, average height, has dark short hair which was balding on top, a pot-belly, a hairy chest and a tan. He was wearing dark trousers and a blue and white chequered shirt which was open to the waist.
The incident happened at about 6pm on Monday, but details were only released this afternoon.
PC Mark Haynes said: “This incident has obviously left the victims upset and we are keen to catch the man responsible.
“Crimes of this nature are not always reported by the victim as they feel they are too minor to involve the police. However, I would urge anyone who may have been a victim of this type of crime or who may have seen the offender hanging around the area to contact me urgently.”
