Textitle artist Sue Rangeley takes her inspiration from gardens and the natural world, creating dazzling embroidery.
Her first book Embroidered Originals (D4Daisy, £19) is illustrated with lavish examples and ideas for using embroidery to create fashionable touches.
It will be launched at her Charlbury studio during Artweeks from Saturday to May 31, where visitors can see the original samples and sketches from the book.
She will also be at William Morris’s former Oxfordshire home, Kelmscott Manor, on June 9, showing examples of her work inspired by the flora of an English country garden. See www.suerangeley.co.uk.
