What right does Oxford City Council have in requesting permission from the Government for some 7,000 houses to be built on the Grenoble Road site, without the consultation and agreement of the people of the city and surrounding areas?
Has the council considered the implications of this action, such as roads and transport?
Does it realise that with an ever-expanding business park at Cowley, traffic is already getting slower and slower?
Furthermore, the council is obviously neglecting to protect the local Green Belt which, in this area, is shrinking beyond belief.
What I would like to know is which parties voted for this to go ahead? Was it Labour or the Liberal Democrats?
