Oxford came to a standstill this morning as thousands of runners put their best foot forward in the city’s Town and Gown 10km race.
Almost 4,000 runners set off at 10am and paced around the city’s historic sites before crossing the finish line in the University Parks.
All the money raised will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, which funds research and provides free care and support for 70,000 children and adults affected by the disease.
