Police today appealed for help in tracing two girls who have gone missing from Witney.
Imogen Thomas, 14, and Victoria Pill, 15, were last seen at about 1pm at Henry Box School, Witney, on Thursday and were reported missing after failing to turn up for afternoon registration.
Imogen is white, 5ft 5in tall, slim, with short brown hair. Victoria is also white, 5ft 5in tall, with medium brown hair and wears glasses. When last seen, both girls were wearing their school uniforms of black school trousers and white tops.
PC Chris French said: “Having spoken to the girl’s friends, we believe they may be planning to cycle to Brighton and have taken camping equipment with them. "I would like to reassure Imogen and Victoria that they are not in any trouble, we are just concerned for their welfare and want to make sure they are OK.”
Anyone who has seen two girls matching their description or has any information about the girl’s whereabouts should contact PC French via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
