JUNIOR members of St Peter’s Church were invited to bring their friends to a tea party in 1987, to persuade them that belonging to a church could be fun. Sarah Wooldridge, nine, Marie Hughes, six, and Timothy Hughes, seven, prepare to tuck in.
More than 500 people attended a fayre at Wolvercote Primary School in 1969 and raised £160 for school funds. Mrs D Truby, in the next picture, helps her daughter Michaele choose a toy from one of the stalls.
