Abingdon mother-of-four Julie Sudlow was stabbed to death by a man she met on Facebook, an inquest has heard.
The former Milletts Farm Centre worker, of Berry Croft, Abingdon, was killed at the Portsmouth home of former partner Stewart Shaw, who she had visited despite pending court hearings into an earlier attack.
Police told the inquest at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court that after spending the night together, mobile phone records suggest the pair rowed on the morning of Friday, August 7, 2009.
Det Sgt Damon Kennard, of Hampshire Police, said Mr Shaw made his excuses to work colleagues and drove to confront Mrs Sudlow, 41, who was still at his home Waterlooville, Porstmouth.
After stabbing her in the head and leaving her wrapped in the duvet on his bed, he travelled to Winchester and threw himself in front of a train, the inquest heard.
The pair had met over Facebook in October 2008, DS Kennard said.
