I understand there was some scurrilous piece in Tuesday’s Oxford Mail suggesting that I don’t get on my bicycle!
I attach a photograph of my wife, Pippa, and myself, having completed the Help for Heroes Big Battlefield Bike Ride in 2008, which involved cycling an average of 80 miles a day for six days across northern France, to raise funds for Help for Heroes and Headley Court.
Last year I took part in, and completed, the Blenheim Triathlon – which, as you will know, involves swimming, running and cycling.
How many Oxford Mail or Times journalists have done the Blenheim Triathlon? Will you be putting in a team this year?
