A farmer has chugged his way from John O'Groats to Lands End on a tractor.
Terry Pope, 58, of Mill Race Farm, Black Bourton, has arrived in Lands End after a 10 day drive from John O'Groats in Scotland, with pal Graham Dell, of Tring, both on 1959 Fordson Dexta tractors.
The pair embarked on the marathon drive to raise money for mental health charity Oxfordshire Mind.
They stopped on the way in Malmesbury to help smash the world record for the most tractors ploughing one field at the same time.
Mr Pope has always dreamed of travelling the world in his tractor. He hopes to raise the profile of mental health especially for those in the rural community.
He was on his way back to Oxfordshire at the weekend when he was being welcomed with a home barbecue.
He said: "It's been going brilliantly, we have had such a lot of support.
"Motorists have been beeping their horns at us on the way, people have been giving us money, we have been given bed and breakfast and others have given us fuel.
"The tractor club organised a barbecue for us in Tewksbury and all collected money for us at the end, and people from Oxfordshire Mind came.
"We have been enjoying the ride, scenic countryside, and waving at everyone we pass."
The vintage tractor travels about 12mph.
When told he must be quite patient, Mr Pope said: "I don't need to be patient, it's the cars behind that do! I do pull over when I can."
