THE final line-up of speakers at next month’s Venturefest science and technology fair has been unveiled.
They include former Oxford Instruments chief executive Dr Andrew Mackintosh, now chief executive of the Royal Society Enterprise Fund; Jon Moulton, chief executive of private equity group Better Capital, which recently bought the UK subsidiary of Reader’s Digest magazine out of administration and David Kester, chief executive of the Design Council.
Alos making presentations will be Oxford University chemistry professor Dermot O’Hare, recognised as one Europe’s top 50 scientists under the age of 40, and Dr Elizabeth Shotton, industrial liaison manager for the Diamond Light Source at Harwell.
Dr Jon Rees, chief executive of the Oxford Bioscience Network, will provide an overview of the life science industry in the South-East.
Dave Waller, director of Venturefest, said: “The day is an ideal opportunity for businesses to come together to network, learn and share.”
