THE prospect of Sunday’s nerve-wracking play-off final is becoming a reality for Oxford fans as they start to get their hands on their tickets.
Letters containing tickets for the big game at Wembley have begun dropping through letterboxes across the county, including that of the Stevens family in Cutteslowe, North Oxford.
Daughter Elizabeth, 17, who will be travelling to the game against York at Wembley with her father Kevin, 15-year-old brother Nick, and his friend Joel Gill,, 13, aid: “It makes it feel like it’s actually happening now.
“After ordering them, you have to wait, but now we’ve got them it feels really near.”
The Cherwell School pupil, who has a season ticket in the Kassam Stadium’s South Stand describes herself as Sam Deering’s number-one fan. She added: “I’m 100-per-cent confident. I think that we’ll win 2-0.”
