Trumpets, trombones and saxophones filled Oxford as street musicians from across the nation gathered to showcase their talents.
The city hosted the Street Band Gathering, which included workshops, discussion and performance.
On Saturday, there were free, non-stop performances at Oxford Castle and on Sunday, musicians converged on Broad Street from Gloucester Green, Cornmarket and Bonn Square for a finale.
Among the 100 musicians from ten different bands were members of Oxford street band Horns of Plenty. Saxophonist Simon Chatterton, who helped organise the event, said: “The sun was starting to come out and it turned into a real carnival atmosphere.”
