Marston Saints saved their best preformance of the season until the last game.From the first whistle Marston attacked with intent,Ethan Waite hitting the bar with a fine overhead kick before Cameron Homer volleyed in from the resulting corner.
Didcot tried to get back into the game but Marston looked dangerous with every attack.Further goals came from Joshua Josephs,Ethan Waite and a superb lob from Rowan Alexander to give Marston a commanding lead at half time.
In the second half Didcot never gave up and if not for the excellent defensive work of the Marston defenders and goalkeeper they could easily have scored.
Marston continued to press forward creating numerous chances. Joshua Josephs added his second before the Didcot keeper produced a great save from a Marston penalty kick. The fine display was completed with a long range shot from Tendai Mawema.
This fine display clinched runners up spot for Marston after a long season and a close battle with Kidlington.
