THE former Alden Press building in Witney has been sold to an Oxfordshire manufacturer.
Hydac Technology will move into the De Havilland Way site in September.
Ninety staff will move from Hydac’s present base in Charlbury.
Managing director George Muscat said: “We are expanding and we needed a building up to 50,000 sq ft.
“The support we have had from staff has been fantastic and everyone is looking forward to the move.”
German-owned Hydac has been in Oxfordshire for more than 30 years and specialises in technology such as pumps, valves and filter systems for vehicles such as JCBs and tractors, and the offshore industry.
Mr Muscat added: “We are moving from premises that are 60 years old into a place that is almost new. It is a major step forward for the company which will support our growth and expansion in the UK.”
Hydac bought the building for an undisclosed sum.
Alden Press, founded in 1832, moved into the £5.5m building in 2006 but after a 2008 takeover by the HenDi Group, went into administration later that year.
